Building Resilience & Coping skills.
Building resilience in children and young people is essential for equipping them to handle life’s challenges with greater confidence and adaptability. By fostering strong coping skills, they can better manage their emotions, feel more in control, and support their overall mental wellbeing.
This workshop will help students to recognise stress and understand their triggers. It will help them to develop practical coping strategies such as breathing techniques, journaling and problem solving to build long term confidence.
2. Understanding Anxiety & Emotional Wellbeing.
It is also important to understand anxiety and its impact on emotional health. Recognizing the signs of anxiety enables timely and appropriate responses, helping children develop healthier ways to manage stress and encouraging them to seek support when needed.
This workshop will explore how anxiety effects the body and mind, breaking down myths and teaching students simple, every day coping tools e.g. positive self talk and grounding tools.
3. Digital Wellbeing & Social Media Balance.
In today’s digital age, promoting a balanced approach to technology and social media use plays a crucial role in maintaining mental health. Encouraging mindful use and setting reasonable limits can reduce stress, prevent distractions, and help children stay engaged in the present moment.
This working will help to support young people to reflect on their digital habits, manage online pressure and develop healthier routines for screen time and social media use.
Supporting your child or student in these areas creates a strong foundation for their emotional wellbeing and resilience throughout life’s ups and downs.
